This article covers starting, using, and managing immediate video sessions with our Instant tool. This is available to Instant, Instant +, Professional, and Enterprise accounts.
TeleTails Instant is an easy, quick, no download required way to connect with client through a live video call. To access Instant, please navigate to the Instant tab on your web browser or open the Instant Sessions Dashboard from your app home page.
Starting an Instant Session
To begin an Instant session, please select the blue Start Session and then enter your clients name and cell number. Practice location is optional, but can be helpful when filtering session if your practice has multiple locations. Then select Send Invite.
TeleTails will send your client a SMS message containing a hyperlink, inviting them to join your Instant session. Your personal contact info is never shared. All your client needs to do is click the link within the message. No app downloads required! An example of the text message is included below.
Joining an Instant Session
Once the invite is sent, you will see your client listed under Open Rooms. Think of these sessions as pending. You can filter these session by Provider or Location. Once your client has joined, the session will move to Active Sessions. Now all you have to do is click Join Session and you will immediately join a live video session with your client.
Archived Sessions
Instant +, Professional, and Enterprise users can view and download completed Instant session video recordings. To access these videos, please select View Archived Sessions on your Instant Dashboard.
