You may have just received an email from your veterinarian's office stating they have created a profile for you on TeleTails in order to participate in live online visits or message with the veterinary team. Congrats! Access to high-quality pet care just got easier.
All you need to do is download the TeleTails app from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with the email address your veterinarian used. You do not need to create another account. Have questions about signing in? - See more here.
Once you have signed-in the first time, please make sure you allow TeleTails to send notifications to your phone and to access your camera otherwise you will not be able to join video consultations. Also, please add your mobile phone number to your account to receive real-time notifications.
Your veterinarian's office may have already opened a consultation with you. If so, you will see it under Active Consultations. If they have used the scheduling feature, you may also see an appointment listed under Upcoming Appointments.
To view your consultation details, please tap on the consultation listed under Active Consultations. You will be prompted to enter a credit card. You will receive an estimate prior to the video and you will not be charged until your consult is resolved by your provider.
When it comes time for your video appointment, your veterinarian will start the video call. Once the veterinarian has started the video, you will get a notification on your phone or tablet. All you will have to do is tap Join Video Call. Please make sure you allow TeleTails access to your camera and audio otherwise your provider won't be able to see or hear you!
